How to tell your business is ready for AI
Five signs AI will pay off in your company — from repetitive routine to data nobody reads. And three cases when it is too early.
AI does not pay off everywhere. Before budgeting an adoption project, check five signs: employees spend hours on repetitive text and document work; data piles up unanalyzed; customers wait for support longer than an hour; managers copy information between systems by hand; routine decisions are made by gut feeling.
If at least two match, the effect will be measurable. Start with a pilot on a single process: 4–6 weeks, a limited budget, a clear success metric. And vice versa: if processes are undocumented and the goal sounds like “we want AI because everyone has it” — clean up first, or you will automate chaos.
