Who Can You Trust In Internet Marketing?

    Author: Terry Van Diver

Well, even though I have an undergraduate degree, looking back on my resume, I am also a Nursing School dropout. Not very impressive! But getting kicked out of Nursing School was the BEST thing that ever happened to me. How, you may ask? Although it was a very dark time in my life, getting the BOOT allowed me to sit back and reflect on my life. What did I really want to DO with my life? How was I going to get out of my financial turmoil? I sold my home, and was living in the top floor of my parent’s home, which truly stripped me of my pride. What could I possibly do that would pull me out of such a life I had built for myself?

I had a burning DESIRE to build my own little fortress: I had DRIVE. I had TALENT. I just lacked DIRECTION. Does this sound familiar? I needed someone who KNEW how to market on the Internet and I needed that person to TEACH ME what he knew. There were so MANY “get rich quick” schemes, and after throwing good money after bad, I quickly learned that there are not that many people who are really willing to take a “newbie” by the hand and teach that person HOW TO MAKE MONEY on the Internet.

You see, the only thing that really mattered to me what generating $1 on the Internet. That’s NOT a typo! I am really serious! I knew, even as a beginner, that if I could earn $1 on the Internet selling someone else’s product, then that action could be REPLICATED. It’s TRUE! You don’t need to make a MILLION dollars a year to be successful. You first need to generate $1 and then duplicate what you did to earn that money. THAT is the blueprint for creating success on the Internet. Really, it is a simple recipe for success in ANY business, for that matter.

I learn by watching someone DO WHAT THEY DO. So, for me personally, VIDEOS are the way to go. I must SEE and HEAR what they are teaching me in order for me to be able to follow that instruction. I get bored and sleepy reading too much jargon. The instructions must be succinct but SIMPLE.

After years and years of searching, I finally found such a person. An honorable, ethical and upstanding person who has been in the Internet marketing field for OVER a decade. He actually stood right where I was standing, before I sought him out. Mack has launched a series of secret nuggets that literally takes a “newbie” by the hand and TEACHES them the grassroots principals behind marketing on the Internet. He doesn’t assume you know anything. As a matter of fact, he assumes you know LESS than nothing, and takes it from there.

I ASSURE YOU, if you want to earn money on the Internet, this guy, MACK, is the way to go. I have learned so much from him and he is literally the person who pulled me out of my financial “mudhole” and allowed me to take back my PRIDE. His lessons were very easy to understand and no longer did I feel ALONE in my venture to make money on the Internet.

You know, it’s scary being on the internet, marketing for the first time, and not knowing WHO to listen to or WHAT even to DO to MAKE THAT FIRST $1. The best advice you will ever receive is what you are reading now. I am very grateful that I was intelligent enough to listen and fortunate that I had the drive and ambition in REFUSING to allow the nay Sayers (the instructors who kicked me out of school) to take my pride from me.

If you are interested in learning how YOU can make money on the Internet, you can go to the link provided. I wish you all the best in your search for EXCELLENCE. You will find it here.

The concept of MARKETING is a very interesting subject. It is a tool having a tremendous influence on all of us, which do not always realize. There are two sides to this argument; we use the positive elements when looking for a product to cover a specific need and we are at the same time victims of marketing campaigns. I divide these campaigns into two groups, the first one consisting of factual and honest information about a product or service I need for an explicit purpose, the second group I have named unscrupulous manipulation unfortunately used to day by companies, organizations, churches and governments.

The full study of the marketing field is comprehensive as it involves economics related to private businesses as well as the execution of public policies. Marketing is integrated in our lives used by our communities as well as by companies producing or selling merchandise or services we need. In exchange we today pay for products with money and for the social services we pay with either money or contribute with other means to the development of the social structure.

In order to form an opinion you need to know just a little about the history and I find this very motivating to look at since the development from the early days until now in 2009 in itself is a topic with an unlimited number of angels, viewpoints and methods used for both groups as mentioned above. It is actually an academic field that did not become perceptible worth studying before many years after the Second World War.

    DEFINITION OF MARKETING

There are many definitions and they have changed in tune with the development. One I like is this one: Marketing is the total of activities involved in the transfer of goods or services from the producer or seller to the consumer or buyer, including advertising, shipping, storing, and selling. So far so good. But when did it actually begin? It is of course not possible to determine an accurate point of time, so let me just stroll through the various scenes as I see them.

Did it actually start with Eve and Adam? Eve had the apple, Adam was hungry, so Eve was able to deliver him a product he needed. Rule number one; you can only supply what the market needs. The question is of course, how did Adam pay for the apple? Or had he already done that by giving his rib? All right I know I am not correct and I do not intent to offend anybody with this remark.

However for centuries to come marketing took place as an exchange of either goods or services and when the process was systematized the business took place on local markets to start with, then when the infrastructure improved the markets started to exchange on a much broader scale first locally later internationally. Often products were exchanged for products maybe better known as barter and money was considered a commodity much later to become the recognized parameter for value of commodities, products and services.

Today I see MARKETING as an old tree, a huge trunk with a lot of branches each one representing a specific tool to be used in the whole process. But the branches have all twigs. So I give a name to each branch and twig and since I work much with modern communication tools I will shortly list up some important steps: Gutenberg, magazines, advertising in magazines and newspapers, billboards, trademarks, radio and television, telemarketing, E-commerce, guerilla marketing and the dot.com fever.

Information is the keyword since information equals know-how and knowledge equals power. Information has always represented a power base first used by priests to control the herd, influencing the social environment and is still today used by all religions. So how did we get from the information flow supplied by the priest on the pulpit to the Vatican using the Internet? The business world has also taken advantage of the technical development in the communication tools.

The significant change in the development is due to the consequences of the industrial revolution. The marketing process became the link between the producers and the users. This is logical and understandable, but what I do not appreciate is the methods used in modern marketing by which many now manipulate with people. Modern science forms part of the new methods, which are influencing persons, their core values  and more importantly trying to change consumers views on what they really need resulting in different consumer behavior. I often have this picture in my head: We are objects living in a house with windows all over and being studied from the outside by super-engineers, who feed the Internet Robots with sophisticated music and we all dance as they like.

OK I do acknowledge the fact that if used correctly Marketing can make wonders. It can help an IDEA to be realized, no need to give examples of that. I also acknowledge the fact that for many products the total marketing costs are often more than 50% of the selling price, so marketing has a tremendous influence on any countries GPO. Per se marketing forms a vital part of the modern society; it keeps the consumer spending “running” and as a consequence a high production both of equal importance to the turning of the financial wheels.

    Using Your Website Efficiently

    Author: Alison Redfern

You have your business up and running and of course, an essential part of your business is your website – it’s open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, always there for customers to see. But does your site lead customers to sales?

Your website should be user friendly in that it doesn’t confuse users, lead them to pages that give them unnecessary information or wow them too much with technology that is slow to load on the page.

Your website should hit the right balance of being informative, with enough text to keep the search engines interested and without overpowering the reader. Consideration should be given to the reasons why people go to your website, and you should check that they can carry out the tasks they expect to do; try it for yourself to find out.

    - Is your site purely for information purposes about your product or service, and if so, how can you best display this? With a portfolio of your products? With a step by step guide about how your service works?

    - Are the menu headers clear and always visible?

    - Is it easy to get around the site, from one page to the next?

    - Should people be able to buy your products on line? Do you have a database incorporated to show all your products, and a facility for people to pay?

    - If you have properties to sell, is all the information well displayed, can customers keep a ‘wish list’ to refer back to easily, or print off details without problems?

    - If you have properties to rent for holidays, can they do this on line? Can they easily see when the property is available and how much it is?

    - Do you have all the necessary terms and conditions of sale and delivery for people to refer to?

    - Have a content managed page so you can quickly put up news of promotions, special offers and sales. It’s easy to do and you don’t have to depend on the web programmer to find time to do it.

Once you have captured a customer’s attention and they want to go ahead and contact you – to ask questions, to buy, or any other reason – can they find your contact details? These should be displayed well on every page, with a hyperlink to your email. If a customer has to find your ‘Contact Us’ page before they can get to you, then there is the risk that they lose the page right where they have made the decision to contact you has been made, and this disrupts the whole process.

Another point to remember is that your website is a 24 hour reflection of your business. Therefore, all the information should be as up to date as possible, there should be no ‘dead links’ where people go to pages that display an error, and the site should have easy navigation so that any pages clicked ‘back’ should also display the right information rather than a ‘timed out’ message.

Your website is also a great way of building up your potential customer database. Add a link to your site to ask people to sign up for your newsletter. This way you update your list and possibly increase sales. Make sure you do send out a newsletter, even if it is just twice a year, so that the user feels it was worth signing up.

Make sure your website is updated with interesting things to reaffirm your place in the market. Not only does this attract the attention of search engines, but users can find the information helpful. Add your press releases and advertising, and create a blog space where you can quickly update the site with messages, news and advice for users.

Your website should be designed well, with the user in mind, as well as within your corporate image. Make sure your website shows your logo and corporate colours so that users quickly identify that they have reached the right site as soon as they come to it.

How To Use Online Forums To Market Your Website

    Author: Shane Hubbell

Using forums with signature files allows you to advertise in an indirect, nonthreatening way. Signature files are messages you create that will automatically appear below each of your forum posts, and typically allow you to link to your website or blog. It’s quite a simple way to promote your products or services, but there are many people who aren’t making the best use of this online marketing method.

Here are the steps to getting started in marketing your website or business using online discussion forums.

    Find Popular Forums

The first stage of using forums to effectively bring traffic to your website is to do a search for forums in your niche that get a lot of traffic. You can use Google or Yahoo or any other search engine to search for forums using keywords related to your niche. For example, if you have a website about debt management, you could type “debt forum” into a search engine to get related forums.

Bookmark the forums that are relevant to your site and check their traffic ranking in http://Alexa.com. You simply click on “traffic rankings” and enter the URL of the debt forums you want to check and it will give you an idea of how much web traffic the forum receives. The lower the traffic ranking the better in terms of how much traffic the forum gets.

    Sign Up For Forums

Once you’ve narrowed down your list to forums in your niche area that get a decent amount of website traffic, you can begin creating your accounts. In order to post messages on forums you must have an account set up. In your profile within each forum, you’ll want to set up your “sig” file. Your signature file should use keywords that you want your website to appear in search engine listings for as the link text.

    Post Messages

Once you have created accounts on popular forums in your niche, created your profile with sig files, you can start posting messages. You have to be careful that you don’t just spam the forums by posting worthless comments just to get your sig files printed. You want to be sure your posts are contributing to the conversation as this is the only way people would be interested in clicking on your links to begin with! A good rule of thumb is to just have fun and make friends. Don’t even think about advertising your business or website. Let your signature file do that for you.

Use your forum posts and comments to answer questions from other forum users and establish yourself as an expert in your niche. People will start to recognize you on the forums and will likely want to learn more about you. They will begin clicking on your sig file links to find out more, and they would already be considered a “warm” lead on your website because they’ve established some sort of relationship and trust with you through the forum posts.

Above all, be polite and treat others like you would want to be treated and very soon you will have a flood of visitors coming back to your website!

Effective Linking Strategies to Promote Your Home Business Website

    Author: Shawn Culver

When you begin building traffic to your Home Business website, first you will want to focus on gaining link popularity via reciprical and one way links with other related websites.

Complimentary but non-competing websites are the best because some search engines consider them more relevent and give you a higher ranking in their respective algorithms. One way to build up the link popularity of your Home Business site is to do link exchanges.

Another important way is to submit your website to the major directories such as Yahoo and Open Directory and niche directories relating to the subject matter of your home business site. Another effective way is to simply write articles and submit them them to sites which provide content to other sites.

You can add your “resource box” at the end of the article and any site or ezine which posts your article must also post your resource box which includes your websites URL.

This will not only increase traffic to your website directly but will also increase your all important “link popularity”. This will improve the ranking of your website for given keywords on all the search engines.

Writing articles is a superb linking strategy! Here is the process and how it works:

    1. Send out articles that you’ve written.
    2. Articles are then reprinted in newsletters or on websites.
    3. People then read the articles.
    4. They then click on the link to your site at the end of the article.
    5. Suddenly you have traffic coming in!

You recieve free advertising and webmasters recieve free content, this creates a win-win situation all the way around! That is the magic of writing articles!

    Additional strategies

Tools are one of the most popular techniques used to gain links. Examine some of the popular tools in your industry that have attracted high-quality links before. Then have a programmer create a mash-up of those tools. That way, users can find the answers to all their questions in one location.

Creating compelling content is only part of the job. The next aspect is the promotion. This can be incorporated into your traditional media campaigns, such as print and radio. You can also take advantage of social media outlets such as Netscape and Digg. Below are three promotional methods that can help you spread the word.

    1. Bloggers – Find the influential bloggers for your industry and get them to write about your new content. Think like a politician in how you approach the bloggers. Some might be seduced with flattery, while others expect a kickback.

    2. Newsletters and Ezines – Often, sponsoring newsletters is fairly inexpensive, making it easy to run ads in several ezines at a time. This can help to promote buzz by getting in front of a targeted audience.

    3. Pay-Per-Click – Purchase inexpensive keywords related to your new content. This can be especially beneficial for helping to increase traction for the sites that do not rank well.

In addition, the branding and exposure from the PPC campaign will be beneficial. People are more likely to link to sites they are familiar with or have seen before. It is all about trust.

There are many other ways to promote the content, particularly for those who are good at guerrilla marketing. It is also important to keep the buzz up as the campaign progresses. If things seem to be slowing down, it might be time to contact a few more bloggers or have a radio personality put in a few more plugs.

Take full advantage of all the linking possibilities with great content. It can lead to some great backlinks and new customers at the same time.

  • SEO Web Design as An idea For Results by Drago Marx

Posted on December 17th, 2008adminmarketing, seo

EO web design is a view which highlights terrific architectural design principles based on how the search engines establish relevance and site information. The design should be able to give out the information that the user is seeking and at the same time be with no trouble navigable. This is part of search engine optimization because the SEO web design should also be able to satisfy robotic crawlers and spiders in their thirst for information about the website and other data.

SEO Web Design and Site Optimization

Search engine optimization is further than only a trend at the present time. It is used and applied by approximately the entire sites on the internet that aim to achieve money and get in touch with online popularity. With the loads of strategies of optimizing a web site, SEO web design is one of the uppermost priorities.

The impression of the design of the site on search engine robotic crawlers or spiders can benefit advance the ranking of the site. This is where SEO web design comes in. There are scores of avenues to make the web site more alluring to robotic visitors and human visitors alike. In reality, spiders and crawlers from search engines do not mind the complete aesthetic value of the site. All these robotic crawlers need is the information it can get from the site. The tricky part is how to put pertinent information in the site in order for the crawlers to suitably index the site due to its relevance.

SEO web design is a competitive field where web designers, or what I favor to call website architects, work hard to come up with ideas and designs that are aesthetically appealing and germane at the same time. There has to be importance for ease of getting around the website, being appealing to a large range of visitors and finding the best place for the website. Making a basic, visually appealing site is effortless with the lots of technological advances accessible today, the difficulty with these advances are that they are sometimes utterly tricky to get through like this making your website testing to navigate in. SEO web design must be comfortable to utilize and friendly to both human and robotic browsers.

Easy navigational access can be done by making the pages of the site easy to navigate to and having comfortable to get it and advantage button or labels to click on. The pictures and images on your SEO web design be supposed to be entirely the precise size and scale to facilitate users to see them on time after clicking instead of taking a very long time to download . Waiting for images and other graphics to load can be off putting for most visitors and will ultimately lead them to another site which is more optimized and easy to view. Even spiders and crawlers will give up on a site which is not uncomplicated to navigate and get into.

The total appeal of the SEO web design should not only be focused generally on the niche that it is targeted on but as well for Internet users who might have stumbled onto the site. SEO web design should have a universal influence even for the most dedicated type of sites on the Internet.

    Tips for SEO Article Submission

    Author: Jatin Sharma

For companies looking to increase their online presence, article submission has become a popular way to climb up the SERPs. Article directories are filled with millions of articles on every topic imaginable. Online marketers can use these directories to their advantage by publishing relevant content on these sites consistently. Inbound links and high rankings are just a couple of the benefits of submitting an article, but to guarantee you get the most out of your submission, follow these tips.

    1. Optimize the Content- The most important aspect of your article submission is ensuring the content is properly optimized. Each article should focus around a relevant keyword. The keyword should be in the title and spread naturally throughout the content. The reason I say “naturally” is I believe focusing on using your keywords in a way that sounds natural is more important than trying to achieve a particular keyword density. Natural content reads better than an article trying desperately to artificially achieve a certain keyword count.
    2. Make Your Article Unique- The phrase “content is king” has been used to the point of exhaustion. Many people run with this mantra and believe in publishing as much content as possible. While my livelihood is based off convincing clients to create more content, I never do so just for the sake of writing another article. The internet is overflowing with useless content serving no other purpose than to take up space. To separate yourself from the pack, you should only create articles containing compelling, relevant information. If your content is stale, readers will see right through your marketing ploy and will avoid using your company.
    3. Use Keyword Rich Anchor Text- One of the benefits of submitting articles to a directory is it creates one way links to your website. While inbound links are vital to improving your page rank, many article writers are missing out on a big opportunity to get more juice out of these links. The directories give you the option of controlling the anchor text of your inbound links. Therefore, you should create keyword rich links to your website. Furthermore, you should try to create deep links to your website. In other words, don’t just link to the homepage. Instead, link to deeper content pages, and optimize the link for this page’s keyword.
    4. Avoid Duplicate Content- Generating fresh SEO content on a consistent basis can be a difficult task. After a while, it may seem you are saying the same thing over and over again. However, you must be careful to ensure this doesn’t happen. Duplicate content can hurt your site by causing it to get pushed down the search engine rankings. The content you publish on an article submission directory should not be the same as the text on your website. If you want to guarantee the content is unique, use a program like Copyscape to check it against other websites.
    5. Create Easy to Read Articles- Readers online don’t view content in the same manner as traditional readers. Looking at a computer screen is much more taxing on the eyes than reading a newspaper. As a result, online readers tend to scan text instead of reading it word for word. For this reason, you should create short paragraphs with bold, descriptive headings. This allows readers to scan the document to see if it interests them. If the headings capture their attention, they might decide to read through the entire article.

Marverick Money Makers Club: 3 Simple Money Making Principles

    Author: Marc Marseille

How long have you been trying your luck at internet marketing? If you are fortunate enough to be a resilient, stubborn, go getter like myself than it does not matter how long it will take, failure is not an option. Unfortunately most marketers are not built for the wealth of information they will have to attain to succeed, so they quit before they can get a chance to realize their dreams of success online. The reason the many fail is because they seek advice from people who only give them a piece of the puzzle. The rest of the puzzle is left for them to figure out for themselves.

When I started marketing online, I was blessed with a lot of time due to the fall of the mortgage industry. I could no longer sell any of the homes that I was rehabbing, so I had to figure something else to supplement the money I was used to making. The time that was allotted to me gave me the chance to dissect the internet marketing industry and learn the 3 simple secret principles to succeeding online. Those principles include: knowing how to market, knowing where to market, and knowing when to market.

Through trial and error I was able to maneuver through the internet maze of false information to locate the secret principles. It took me months to finally realize what I needed to do in order to apply these principles. From what I found out, it is totally normal for new marketers to expect to go through the same arduous road. The reason for this is, almost no one is willing to take the time out to really break it down to a science the keys to success on the net. Everybody is more interested in providing you with enough information to sell you their product and move on to the next prospect.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found the Maverick Money Makers program. Unlike traditional programs, Maverick Money Makers is an internet marketing club that provides members with the 3 secret principles to making money online: knowing what to market, knowing where to market and knowing when to market. The membership concept provides members with ongoing training with step by step tutorials as well as support to teach members what it takes to navigate their way through the labyrinth we know as internet marketing.

There is nothing wrong with being in a hurry because life moves at a very fast pace sometimes. While you are in a hurry, it is important that you make sure to you are keeping your eyes and ears open. What seems so simple, often is a deterrent that will take you off your path. You should take the time to learn the directions before you put the pedal to the medal. Internet marketing can be easy, but it is not that different from any other industry; education is still the key.

Until you take the time out to learn step by step how to market online, your head will continue to spin in circles trying to take advice from people who are just learning themselves. You may think you are saving money by taking advice from a novice, but you will soon find that you have wasted plenty of time and money. The only way to succeed in anything you may take interest in is through comprehensive training. You can not become a carpenter by taking advice from his apprentice and you will not succeed on the internet without proper training.
